Nagesh hails from a little village called Kallahangara in Kalaburagi Taluk of Karnataka. He holds an MA in Political Science from Dharwad Karnataka University. His hobbies and interests include- writing songs, singing, creative writing, participating in movements that encourage social change based on progressive thoughts and reading, any chance he gets. He dreams of world without casteism and classism- an inclusive world free from discrimination. In fact, Nagesh has decided to make it his life’s goal to dedicatedly work towards building such a world. Therefore, values such as sustainable development, social justice, gender equality- which are central to the Indian Constitution are also pillars of strength for Nagesh. The role of Centre Convenor at Samvada’s Kalaburagi Youth Resource Centre enables him to bring these values into his work while fulfilling his dream of manifesting the vision he has for a just and sustainable world.
