Shobha joined Samvada in 2017. Prior to this she ran a small xerox and lamination shop. At Samvada she has worked as the Caretaker making sure that students pursuing residential courses run by Baduku were taken care of during the night. Back then she would also helps with some admin work and the kitchen. Currently, Shobha works full-time in the kitchen on-campus as the head cook. Shobha believes that her work at Samvada exposed her to many new ideas and gave her an opportunity to interact with students, giving her confidence about herself. She enjoys reading and creating things with her hands. She has always been curious about creative crafts.
