Also known as Janardhana Kesaragadde has been actively engaged in the field of education and development since 1989. He joined Samvada in 1995 and worked in various positions including as a board member during 2005-06 when he was part Oxfam India-Svaraj and Baduku Programme Director during 2007-2010. During a brief break in 2013-18 he worked as a freelance consultant to other organisations, he continued his association with Samvada as a resource person. As Programme Lead of Centre for Youth Work and Youth Rights during 2018-2023, he played an important role in promoting Youth Work in Karnataka and across the country and in training a new generation of youth workers. Coming from Coastal Karnataka, graduating in science and having completed post-graduation in Social Work, Janardhana brings to Samvada a unique understanding, knowledge and experience in natural resource management and creative communication. A poet and a writer, he has contributed to social and environmental movements through several cultural interventions.
