Nandan comes from Chitradurga District, Karnataka and has completed his MSW from Tumkur University. At tumkur, he dedicated his time to environmental and social movements and has been participating in such movements for the last 5-6 years.
He finds his peace in poetry. In his college days, he found his mentor, Nandasindhu Swamy, who guided him in understanding social activism at the National and State level.

Currently, at Samvada, he is working as a Youth mentor at Kolar Youth Resource Center. Apart from poetry, he loves to travel, study and loves being around farms.
