Hanamantha joined Samvada as a Youth Mentor in the Bangalore YRC. With a Masters in Journalism and Media Studies, he has not only worked as a Press Reporter for Varthabharti Kannada Daily, but has also engaged with the community through his work as a Watershed Assistant at Sujala Project in Tumkur. A prolific writer, Hanamantha has many works to his credit. His story ‘Moharam’ got a prize and was published in Vikrantha Karnataka magazine. He also received the Karave award for the story ‘Kattaleyogina Minuku’. His other work includes a play called ‘Devar Hesarli’ which was showcased at Ravindra Kalakshetra in 2009. Hanamantha brings his enthusiasm for literature and the performing arts into his work with youth.
