Why Youth?
India is the youngest country in the world, with a median age of 29. Are we prepared to meet the needs of this burgeoning young community?
Against a backdrop of increasing urbanisation, migration, religious polarisation, gender discrimination, caste atrocities and environmental degradation, young people carry the burden of being the “leaders of tomorrow” while having little support for where they are today.120 million young people reach working age every year, but don’t receive the opportunity to reflect on their aspirations, plan their careers, or develop their dreams.
What We Do
We don’t just “serve young people in need”. We partner with young people to promote social change.
Samvada is a collective of 45 individuals bound by a common, united vision; to create a gender just, socially inclusive, and environmentally sustainable world by partnering with young people.
