Facilitating Women's Wellness and Justice

is a 3-month post-graduate diploma course in English
& a 1-month modular, certificate course in Kannada
for members of women’s organisations, youth groups, community-based organisations, NGOs, counselling centres, HR teams interested in the fields of counseling and mediation

Course Objectives

The course is aimed to enable men and women to work in the fields of counselling and activism,  to be introduced to a network of experts, to strengthen their understanding of feminist perspectives, and to build skills for feminist counseling.

Course at a Glance

The course is offered in two formats:

  • a modular, 1-month certificate course in Kannada for field workers
  • a 3-month, PG diploma course in English in collaboration with the Center for Lifelong Learning, Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

Pre-Requisites

  • An undergraduate degree or 2-3 years' work experience in the fields of activism, counselling, health or law.

  • Ability to read and and write in the medium of instruction (English or Kannada).
